About Menorca

Menorca is the second-largest island in the Balearic archipelago, located off Spain’s eastern Mediterranean coast.

It features cliffs, ravines, forests, and a range of archaeological monuments dating back millennia.

Unlike Mallorca’s Serra de Tramuntana mountains or Ibiza’s nightlife scene, Menorca draws visitors interested in less crowded outdoor settings, including coastal hikes, geological formations, and prehistoric sites. The island is best reached via ferry or regional flight from Barcelona or Málaga. Most travelers spend 3 to 5 days to cover main towns, archaeological sites, and the coastal landscape. Peak season runs June through August but the island remains quieter than Mallorca or the Costa del Sol.
